The MOD2 front suspension for your 1964.5-1970 Mustang has proven its performance time after time through development on MMI’s Ol’ Blue. MMI has developed a vintage Mustang front suspension kit that removes the stock shock towers and replaces them with new high clearance MMI towers that have enough room to fit a coyote (Mod) motor in most applications. MMI also engineered all new control arms and control arm mounts to provide the best possible suspension geometry possible in this vintage Mustang platform. If you are looking for the ultimate front suspension for your ultimate build MMI’s MOD2 Mustang front suspension is the answer.

MMI shock towers
Low profile MMI shock towers provide maximum engine clearance while maintaining the strength of the shock towers intended by Ford. MMI shock towers also feature bolt in upper coil over shock mounts. The weld in design provide maximum strength in your unibody.

MMI control arm mounts
MMI has years of experience with the Mustang chassis to understand its strengths and weaknesses. Understanding the car and it’s needs is what gives the MOD2 it’s advantage over the competition. The MMI control arm mounts have been located in the most effective location possible for peak performance. If this wasn’t enough the MMI engineers have added flexibility in its mounting locations realizing that you might have different requirements. Keeping the longest control arms possible combined with vertical control arm mounting adjustability ensures that you will have the best combination possible.

This setup is simply the s*** no other way to put it. It definitely is a huge undertaking installing this and makes you want to pull your hair out at a time or two but it is completely worth it. I’m 19 years old and did this in my garage by myself so it is far from impossible, you just need time and patience. My car handles and sticks to the ground better then any car I’ve ever driven. I had drop springs before and when I got up to speed it always floated over the road and in turns the body rolled very hard, but now it feels and handles like a race car. That is the only way I can put it. The overall best part about this is not even the setup itself but everything I’ve learned in the process about it. Mike and his team were beyond awesome with helping me through the whole process and answering all my questions I had. I called ALOT and they were always super helpful and happy to talk. All in all I would buy this again and could not possibly be happier with the car or Mike’s team.
