Slipped under your axle and above your leaf spring, these Mustang 1/2″ and 1″ lowering blocks are machined from billet aluminum to keep the weight down. Combined with our leaf springs and plates, these are a great way to bring control and precision to the handling of your Mustangs (or classic Ford’s) rear end.
All of our blocks come with a 2 degree pinion wedge built in to better align the driveline angle when using our springs. The top alignment pins are specially designed with a 1/2″ width to fill the hole found in Ford models specifically. They are also longer than normal to better engage the alignment hole in the bottom of the leaf spring pad found in early housings.
Our 1″ lowering blocks now include a lateral key designed to compensate for a natural bias for the rear ends toward the right fender. This allows for adjustment to center the rear housing.
