The Mustang shock tower brace is simple in design yet very effective. Triangulating the shock towers to the firewall with rigid mounts give unsurpassed strength compared to other brands.
Our design mimics the original style used on the Shelby cars, but with reduced weight and clean lines. The original component was made from solid steel with beads rolled in for additional strength. Notice what it doesn’t have: pivots. We believe stiffening components should have solid junctions rather than pivots which allow the body to flex. The Mustang shock tower brace kit mounts to the existing bolt patterns on both the shock towers and firewall, no drilling required.
This is an effective solution for tightening up the front end of the car. Tie these in with a set of our subframe connectors and an X-Brace (or just order the complete kit) and you’ll have a much stiffer and more modern chassis.
We also offer a high offset shock tower brace which offers additional clearance for larger air cleaners, and an EFI shock tower brace designed to clear most EFI systems.

Fits perfectly! Does what it says it does! Looks great! Don’t waste your money on a brace with heim joints, kinda defeats purpose in my opinion!

Brace fits well, and believe it when I say this is a beefy product. Dropped right in, and having the slotted mounting holes ensures a perfect fit. Definitely happy with my purchase. When you buy from the best, you get the best. Some say that your appeal to the opposite sex increases by 83% when you install this brace… 😉 Seriously though, the design makes sense, and you can feel it. Load starts at the top of the shock tower, so everything being tied directly to it is the best approach.
